Petr Koblic, Director of CEE Stock Exchange Group

Petr Koblic, a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, began his career in banking in 1993 as a financial market dealer. In 1997, he was promoted to the position of deputy director of the Treasury Department. During 1997–1998, he worked at Patria Finance, where he was the Head of sales. In June 1998, he moved to CA IB Securities where he headed trading activities and served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Koblic was elected Chairman and CEO of Prague Stock Exchange in September 2004. In 2012 he was elected as a member of the Board of CEE Stock Exchange Group AG. He is a Chairman of the Board of Central Securities Depository. In February 2007, he was named Chairman of the Power Exchange Central Europe. During his career Mr. Koblic was a member of the Board of the Czech Broker Dealer Association (AKAT) and he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Czech Investor Compensation Fund, member of the Board of CMC, the Graduate School of Business and a member of the Board of Unicorn College. He holds a local broker’s license and received a Series 7 brokerage license in the United States.
